Their long-standing operation, which makes them a hangout spot and the birthplace of many stories told by their regulars? The simple, but full-bodied ‘house’ wine that perfectly accompanies the dishes around which the merry conversations and banter of the company unfold?
It’s all of these things together – and it’s all the things that we here at Kinsterna Hotel have made sure that the “linos” experience includes. In the outdoor area we have set up a unique setting, with the homonymous wine press (lino) that “christened” our tavern, the old stone olive oil press and the stone wood-fired oven.. Quince trees, pomegranates and vines are the ideal setting for a “folk-inspired”, genuine meal consisting of fresh salads, country bread, vegetables from our orchards and local meats simmered in the wood-fired oven.
Linos tavern is open twice a week during the summer season (mid-May to mid-September).
