In the area of breakfast and for a few days during the week, guests have the rare opportunity to observe the age-old practice of honey extraction by our resident beekeeper before actually tasting it themselves on their meal.
The frames with their honeycomb filled with honey are inserted into the dedicated honey extractor and into a honey extractor and spun by hand. After spinning, the honey rests for a while in a container and then, after removing the remains of the beeswax, the pure, golden honey is stored in jars.
